Basic guidelines

You cannot contribute more than $1,500.

Donations must be issued either by credit card or personal cheque.

Corporations and unions are not allowed to donate.

Anonymous donation is not acceptable.

It is imperative to know that all contributors must be a resident of Manitoba.

The Rebate Application form provided by the candidate must be sent by mail to:

Information about rebates

There is no rebate for any donation less than $25.

You get a 75% rebate for contributions ranging from $25 to $300. For example, if you contribute $250, you will get a rebate of $187.5.

You get a rebate of $225 + 50% of the difference between the donation and $300 for contributions
between $301 and $1,000. For example, if you contribute $1250, you will get a rebate of $658.33. -
You get a rebate of $575 + 33.3% of the difference between the donation and $1000 for contributions that exceeds $1,000. For example, if you contribute $1500, you will get a rebate of $741.67.

The official agent will send rebate application forms and instructions to donors after the election day. To qualify for the rebate, fill out a rebate application and return it to the City Clerks Department by December 26, 2023.
